Preparing Ohio State Students for Global Citizenship

The Multicultural Center (MCC) is a department within the Office of Student Life at The Ohio State University.

The MCC offers several hundred programs a year - cultural celebrations, heritage awareness events, extra-curricular dialogues, student leadership meetings, prejudice-reduction trainings, topical presentations and InterGroup Dialogue classes - all focused on teaching students the kinds of personal and interpersonal skills necessary to be most effective in an interculturally diverse world. You can download our flier from this page.

The MCC intercultural model is one that welcomes all community members to all events while at the same time supporting and celebrating specific constituency groups (including African American, Asian American, American Indian/Indigenous, Hispanic/Latin@, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Women, Men and Faith communities).

ALL MCC programs are open to all students.

Check out the MCC website and calendar to learn more, and drop by our beautiful space in the Ohio Union, first floor.
